- Meet with real estate agent to discuss home buying wants and needs.
- Begin gathering information for loan pre-approval process.
- Get pre-approved by lender.
- Have lender fax pre-approval letter to your real estate agent.
- Go on showing appointments with agent to view homes available in market.
- Your Copeland Real Estate Agent has found your "Dream House"! Now you'll sit down with your agent to write up a purchase and sale agreement.
- Remember, it takes 30-60 days to close depending on the type of financing.
- Once an offer is presented and all terms of the contract are accepted by both buyer and seller a structural inspection will be performed on the house.
- The structural inspection report is in and any repairs or credits as a result of the inspection are negotiated with the seller.
- The inspection contingency is waived.
- Appraisal, credit and title ordered.
- Loan submitted to underwriting.
- Loan is credit approved.
- Appraisal report is in.
- Papers delivered to escrow.
- Escrow obtains signatures on closing papers.
- Final file reviewed.
- Loan Closed.
